I can help with anxiety and panic attacks

Problem anxiety can take on many forms, from generalised anxiety to more specific forms such as social anxiety or anxiety regarding a particular situation. While having some anxiety is not always a bad thing, if it starts to negatively affect your well-being and day to day functioning, it might be beneficial to seek professional help.

Anxiety treatments can help you through a number of ways, most notably by identifying and reducing symptoms and trigger, and helping you build your long term skills and knowledge allowing you to develop improved coping mechanisms. To this end, I typically adopt a two pronged approach to anxiety treatment;

  1. Short term brief CBT
  2. Mid-Long term skills training and psychoeducation

CBT is a well-researched modality and widely regarded as the most effective form of treatment for anxiety disorders. While CBT is the most commonly used modality, I may adopt a differently approach depending on your particular circumstances. Ultimately, there is no one-size-fits-all solution and that is why I am here to help.
